Signal Master

Dispatcher Training

You don't drive the train. You decide which road it gets — and when.

A living rail network on your screen: signals, points and traffic, all real, all yours to work. No dashboard standing between you and the railway.

The role

Five things to understand before your first shift

Signal Master's own introduction, in full — because it says exactly what the game is.

01 · THE ROLE

You are not driving

The driver takes the road you give them and nothing more. Everything interesting happens above the train — in the decision about which road it gets, and when.

02 · THE PANEL

The network is the interface

There is no dashboard behind this. You work the railway directly: turn it, tilt it, zoom into a platform or pull back until the whole area fits, and touch the thing you want to move.

03 · ASPECTS

A signal is a permission

Danger means the section beyond is not yours. Caution means take it, but be ready to stop at the next one. Clear means the road is proved and the section is empty.

04 · POINTS

The blade decides the road

A train goes where the points are lying, not where the timetable says. Move them before the train arrives, never under it, and prove the detection before you clear the signal behind.

05 · CONSEQUENCE

Delay does not stay put

Hold one train and the one behind it slows, the platform frees late, and the service after that cannot berth. You will watch that travel outward — and learn to stop it at the first section.

On the panel

Everything a dispatcher's shift needs

Scripted scenarios, focused drills and a full training ladder — all run on the same live network.

Scenarios

Eight scripted shifts, from a two-train junction to a full network collapse. Each one runs the same three beats: read the brief, work the shift, then see exactly what your decisions cost.

Skill drills

Six focused drills — Signal Match, Route Lock, Block Control, Switch Master, Priority Control, Conflict Hunter — each isolating one decision until it's automatic.

Training levels

Five levels carry you from reading a single signal to holding a whole network together while something on it is going wrong: Signals → Switches → Routes → Traffic → Network.

The live panel

No menus standing between you and the railway. Tilt it, pan it, zoom into one platform or pull back for the whole yard — and touch whatever you want to move.

Shift log & replay

Every shift is recorded. Scrub back through the replay and see the exact moment a decision turned into a delay three trains later.

Dispatch tokens

Five tokens reward the way you actually work: Zero Conflict, Perfect Flow, Crisis Manager, Night Controller, Network Master.

The shifts

Eight shifts, each teaching one thing

From a first two-train junction to a network collapse at night — every scenario has a briefing, an objective, and a lesson waiting in the review.

LEVEL 01

First Junction

Two roads, one line, one decision.

LEVEL 02

Mountain Pass

Single line, both directions.

LEVEL 02

Cargo Priority

The heavy one goes first.

LEVEL 03

Busy Station

Three platforms, six services.

LEVEL 03

Night Shift

You can see the lights, not the trains.

LEVEL 04

Emergency

A machine fails with traffic on the way.

LEVEL 05

Network Collapse

One late train, and then all of them.

LEVEL 05

Live Panel

Hale Cross, open working.

Earned by how you work, not just what you finish

Zero Conflict

No conflicting move, the whole shift.

Perfect Flow

Every service cleared, no train ever stood.

Crisis Manager

Held it together through a failure or cascade.

Night Controller

A night shift, worked on indications alone.

Network Master

A Level 05 shift, completed at Class 1.

"Calm, precise, and quietly addictive."
